v1.0.0
New Release
Shard 1.0: the visual automation builder
Shard 1.0 is our first public release, with a visual builder for automations, your first integrations, and a full run log so you can see exactly what ran.
v1.0.0
New
Today we're launching Shard 1.0, the first public release of the automation platform we've been building for engineering and ops teams who are tired of gluing tools together with scripts and one-off integrations. Our goal is simple: let your team automate the repetitive work between its tools, and trust what happens.
Since our private beta, we've worked closely with early teams to shape what ships today. Their feedback influenced almost every part of this release.
What's included
Visual automation builder: build workflows from a trigger, optional conditions, and one or more actions. No code, and every step is visible on one screen.
First integrations: connect your team chat, code platform, and cloud storage, so automations can start from and act on the tools you already use.
Run history: a record of every run, step by step, with inputs, outputs, and results, so you always know what happened and why.
Workspaces and roles: a shared home for your team's automations, with simple permissions for who can build and who can view.
Built for reliability
Automations only help if you can rely on them. Every run is logged, failed steps can retry, and nothing runs until you switch it on.
What's next
This is just the beginning. AI-assisted building, more integrations, and an API are at the top of our roadmap, and we plan to ship improvements every few weeks. Try Shard 1.0 with your team and tell us what you think. We read every message.
