v1.3.0
New Release
A faster run engine
Automations start sooner, long runs finish faster, and run history loads quickly, so Shard keeps up as your workflows and volume grow.
v1.3.0
Improved
Automations are only useful if they run when you need them to. Shard 1.3 is focused on the engine underneath, so your workflows start sooner, finish faster, and stay dependable at higher volume.
Improved
Faster starts: automations begin running noticeably sooner after their trigger fires, even during busy periods.
Quicker long runs: workflows with many steps finish faster, because independent steps now run in parallel.
Better under load: spikes, like a burst of deploys or messages, are queued and processed in order instead of slowing everything down.
Faster run history: search and filtering across thousands of runs is quicker and more relevant.
Smoother editor: large automations open and scroll more smoothly.
What we measured
We focused on what teams use most: time from trigger to first step, total run time, and how long run history takes to load. Each is faster, and we'll keep measuring real-world performance with every release.
Nothing to do
These improvements are already live for every workspace, and your existing automations keep working exactly as before.
