Connect cloud storage and databases so automations can read, write, and react to the data your team keeps there.
Connect a source
Open Settings โ Integrations.
Choose your storage provider or database and select Connect.
Sign in or enter the connection details.
Choose the folders, buckets, or tables Shard can use.
What you can do
Trigger on changes: start an automation when a file is added or a row is created or updated.
Read and write: fetch a record, save a report, or update a status.
Attach context: include links to files in messages and tickets.
Access and safety
Shard only reaches what you grant, and access follows the permissions of the account you connect. Use a dedicated service account with limited access where possible.
Tip: start with read-only access, then add write access once you trust the automation.
