Connect a tool your team already uses so automations can reach it.
Automations are only as useful as the tools they can reach. Start by connecting one tool your team already lives in.
Connect a tool
Open Settings โ Integrations.
Choose a tool, such as your team chat, code platform, or cloud storage.
Select Connect and approve access.
Choose which channels, repositories, or folders Shard can use.
What happens next
Connected tools show up as triggers and actions when you build an automation. Shard only uses the access you grant, and you can disconnect a tool at any time.
Tip: connect your team chat first. It's the easiest way to see an automation work, because you'll watch its message arrive.
