Schedules and time zones

Run automations on a schedule that respects each time zone.

Scheduled automations run at a set time, so getting the time zone right matters, especially for distributed teams.

Create a schedule

  1. Create an automation and choose the Schedule trigger.

  2. Pick how often it runs: every few minutes, hourly, daily, or weekly.

  3. Set the time and choose a time zone.

  4. Save and switch the automation on.

How time zones work

  • Each schedule has its own time zone, so a 9:00 report runs at 9:00 where you expect it to.

  • The workspace time zone is the default for new schedules.

  • Daylight saving changes are handled automatically, so a daily schedule never skips or repeats a day.

Check upcoming runs

Open the automation to see its next scheduled runs in your own time zone.

Tip: if a scheduled run happens at an unexpected time, check the schedule's time zone first. It's the most common cause.
