Describe a workflow in plain language and review the draft Shard builds.
Describe the workflow you want and AI Assist will draft it for you.
Generate a draft
Open Automations and choose New with AI Assist.
Describe what should happen, and where.
Review the draft: trigger, conditions, and actions.
Edit anything that isn't right, then run a test.
Switch it on.
Writing a good prompt
Name the trigger: when a pull request is merged to main.
Name the outcome: post a summary in #releases.
Add conditions: only for the web repository.
Example
When a deploy to production fails, create an incident in our tracker, post in #incidents, and notify the on-call engineer.
Tip: if the draft is close but not right, tell AI Assist what to change instead of starting over.
