Understanding run history

Last Updated

>

See every step of every run and find out why a run failed.

Run history shows exactly what each automation did, so you can trust it and fix problems fast.

View run history

  1. Open Automations and select an automation.

  2. Open the Run history tab.

  3. Select any run to see its details.

What you'll see

  • When it ran and what triggered it.

  • Each step, with its input, output, and how long it took.

  • The result: succeeded, failed, or retried.

  • Why it failed, with a plain-language explanation from AI Assist and a suggested fix.

Find the run you need

Filter by status, time range, or trigger, and search by event details like a commit or ticket ID.

Tip: after building a new automation, check its first few runs to confirm it does what you expect.
