Templates are ready-made automations for common engineering and ops jobs, so you don't have to start from a blank screen.
Use a template
Open Automations and choose Browse templates.
Pick a template, such as deploy notifications, incident response, weekly release digest, or on-call handoff.
Adjust the trigger, conditions, and actions to fit your team.
Run a test, then switch it on.
Smart suggestions
When Shard notices repetitive work, like the same update posted every week, it suggests an automation you can set up in a click.
Tip: treat templates as a starting point. Rename them and tweak the conditions so they match how your team actually works.
